Launch of Country Soil Health Consortia Regional Website

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website for the AGRA Soil Health Consortia Project; www.soilhealthconsortia.org. The soil health consortia operates in Africa under the leadership of IPNI and IITA. Its objectives are: to build operational partnerships for all the stakeholders in the Agricultural Production in Africa, to collate, synthesize and harmonize Integrated Soil Fertility Management information and to build capacity of national agricultural teams to develop communication tools that effectively communicates information to both scientific and non-scientific stakeholders in agriculture. The site was designed with user-friendly navigation, social sharing features, and has been updated with the latest information about our project. You’ll find everything you’re looking for in a few easy clicks. Some features include an interactive Site Locator, upcoming Events, downloadable Publications, latest News and Discussion Forums. We encourage you to visit and explore the site so we can introduce you to our consortia updates. One of our main goals we wanted to achieve when designing the new site was to help our partners get to know us better and get a feel for who we are as a consortia. We are now using a responsive design, which means that you’ll see essentially the same design optimized for your smart phone, tablet and desktop. We hope you will visit the new website at our new address (www.soilhealthconsortia.org). While you’re there, you can follow us on Twitter (SoilhealthEsa@SHCfESA) or like us on Facebook (Soil Health Consortia for eastern and Southern Africa). We’re quite proud of it, but we know there’s still work to do. In the coming months, we hope to continue improving the site so that it best serves how we communicate with you. Thanks for being part of Soil Health Consortia for Eastern and Southern Africa.
